We started out back on January 10, 2001, with the idea to compile hockey summaries in a database format. Our slogan was simple. "By researchers. For researchers." Our cooperative spirit remains true to this day.

The database is still a work in progress but what we are able to present at this point is an ever increasing collection of vintage NHL game summaries. Hopefully our work can assist you with your research project or just allow you to recall that memorable game from the past.

The Hockey Summary Project allows for free usage of its data including the production of a commercial product based upon the data, subject to the terms outlined below.

1) In exchange for any usage of data, in whole or in part, you agree to display the following statement prominently and in its entirety on your end-product:
